By booking a repair service with TechLab+, you agree to these terms and conditions. We aim to diagnose and repair your device to the best of our ability and within a reasonable timeframe.
• Diagnosis is free if you proceed with the repair. If you choose not to go ahead, a diagnostic fee may apply.
• We operate a No Fix, No Fee policy, meaning if we are unable to repair your device, you won’t be charged (except in cases where non-refundable parts were ordered or extensive labour was required).
• All repairs are subject to parts availability and technical feasibility.
• Estimated repair times are provided as guidance and may be subject to change.
• We offer a [3-month] warranty on repairs covering the replaced parts and workmanship.
• The warranty does not cover damage due to misuse, liquid damage, accidental damage, or further faults unrelated to the repair.
• If a device is tampered with by a third party after repair, the warranty becomes void.
• While we take great care in handling devices, TechLab+ is not responsible for any pre-existing conditions, underlying faults, or unforeseen complications that may arise during repair.
• Customers are strongly advised to back up their data before submitting their device for repair. TechLab+ is not responsible for any data loss.
• We comply with GDPR regulations and ensure that customer data is handled securely and confidentially.
• Repairs on water-damaged devices are not guaranteed, as damage may worsen over time.
• During the repair process, additional issues may be uncovered due to hidden liquid damage, and in some cases, repairs may not be possible.
• Devices not collected within 30 days of repair completion may be disposed of or recycled, unless prior arrangements have been made.
• Customers must provide accurate information about their device's issues and history.
• Any third-party warranties (e.g., manufacturer or insurance) must be disclosed prior to repair.
• Where original manufacturer parts are unavailable, we may use high-quality third-party components. Customers will be informed of this before proceeding.
• All repair prices are subject to change based on parts and labour costs.
• Full payment is required upon collection of the repaired device.
• TechLab+ is not liable for any damage caused by pre-existing issues or hidden faults in the device.
• In the rare event of loss or damage caused by us, liability is limited to the cost of the repair or replacement of the affected part
• If a new fault develops within 48 hours of repair, customers must refer to our warranty policy page to submit a claim.
• This 48-hour claim period is separate from the [3-month] warranty TechLab+ provides for repaired devices, which covers the specific fault that was originally repaired.
• After 48 hours, TechLab+ will not be held liable for any additional faults that may arise.
• If a device is already heavily damaged (e.g., an iPhone 12 that has been crushed) and we replace a part (such as the screen), TechLab+ is not responsible for any additional faults that may arise as a result of the original impact or damage.
• Example: If an iPhone 12 has suffered severe impact damage and TechLab+ replaces the screen, but Face ID is later found to be non-functional due to the previous damage, TechLab+ is not liable for this issue.
• Before proceeding with a repair, TechLab+ will inspect the device and inform the customer of any additional faults or potential risks that may arise due to the original damage. This ensures transparency and allows customers to make an informed decision before proceeding.
• Any additional faults that arise due to prior damage will not be covered by TechLab+.
